New Years 2012

We spent New Years Day with some friends. That evening, we went to a drive-thru light show.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2012!!

Dylan turns 8!!

Dylan turned 8 on December 30th. He wanted a donut cake again on his birthday morning- we all were excited about that also!

When we were in New York over the Christmas week, we had cupcakes one night with the family for Dylan's birthday.

A week in New York

We traveled to the Buffalo, New York area this year for the week of Christmas to be with Dave's family. Unfortunately, they were having an unusually warm winter and there was no snow! The boys were pretty disappointed, but we did get to bring them to try a few different things since there was no snow.

One day we headed back over to Niagara Falls and enjoyed it in the winter when it's not so unbearably cold! Dave & I are standing in front on the falls where he proposed to me!

This was mine and the boys first time to try ice skating! The boys took right off...it took me a little longer! I did enjoy it more than I thought I would!

One day we drove a little over an hour to a ski area where they were making some snow, so we went tubing. It was lots of fun, but very fast! Everyone enjoyed it!

I love this picture of Cayden! This is the same window that Dave would sit as a child and watch the trash truck. That's what Cayden is doing also!!

Christmas Eve & Morning

The boys put Oreo cookies & milk out for Santa on Christmas Eve. He had already come to our house early, so was he really going to visit us again at Grandpa & Grandmas??!!

Cayden sprinkling the reindeer food on the porch that he had made at school.

Well, the boys weren't disappointed... he came again!! Here they are all dressed up to go to a Special Meeting near Grandpa & Grandma's.

Celebrating Bryce & Dylan's Birthdays!

This year Bryce & Dylan wanted a basketball cake for their party. They are both about to start their 2nd season of basketball. Bryce wanted a cookie cake and Dylan wanted a vanilla cake, so I put them together!

Kinda hard to get a picture with all of this silliness :)

Bryce Turns 10!!

Bryce turned 10 on December 11th. Wow- double digits! He had an exciting birthday this year! Papa & Nana were here and they went out hunting with Papa. Bryce shot a duck- what an excited boy! So, we have it at the taxidermist and he is very excited to hang it on his bedroom wall!

Bryce wanted a cookie cake on his birthday this year! He is very much into the outdoors-hunting, fishing... so camo was pretty appropriate for him!

A proud Bryce with his canvasback duck!

All 3 boys were pretty excited actually!

And Papa was also just as excited!!

Early Christmas

We were going to be gone over Christmas this year so we had an early Christmas with the boys the weekend before.

The boys loved their stocking gifts and their wrapped presents, but I think the favorite gifts were the ones Daddy brought home...

a go-cart and mini bike! They have had SOOOO much fun on these!

Thanksgiving 2011

This year at Thanksgiving, we rented an RV and met my Dad & Mom at a State Park. We really had a wonderful time! We even had a somewhat traditional thanksgiving dinner!

the RV we rented- quite an adventure for us, but we really had fun!

Dylan and Dave enjoying the campfire!

We did lots of bike riding on the paved roads and on the trails throughout the campground.

Getting ready to go fishing! I think it's just as fun getting everything together, as it is to actually go out there and fish!

Bryce fishing out in his kayak.

Dylan getting a turn fishing in the kayak and Cayden fishing on the dock.

Papa grilling his yummy steaks! We sure had some good meals on this trip!!
