Happy Birthday to ... me!!

I wouldn't normally blog about my birthday (last week!), but I haven't posted anything lately and this is the most recent thing I have pictures from! Seems like we stay busy, but I'm not snapping pictures of our happenings! I had a really nice birthday and it was special to have my sister Teresa here to spend a few days! Dave & the boys always have fun shopping for my birthday and being really secretive with the presents and the cake. :)

Like my new boots? I got to pick them out! But the men in my life picked out a new alarm clock for me and a pretty pink heart blanket! Cayden tried his best to keep it a secret, but he told me (more than once!) that they got me a new alarm clock and a 'soft thingy'. I finally figured out what the 'soft thingy' was when I opened the gifts!

Gingerbread Fun

We decorated a gingerbread house the last day of their Christmas break. I think it turned out pretty cute for having 3 very active hands involved.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! We did! We met Teresa & Charlus in Oklahoma City and visited our Grandma there. It was a very special time! It was so nice to be with her and Aunt Karen and Mary Lee. They had snow for the boys to play in, so they loved it! New Years Eve we went and saw the Oklahoma City bombing memorial and museum, which was very touching!

This was a big pile of snow at the end of the street that they loved to have Daddy take them to!

Dyaln and Cayden with their 'snow squares'! The snow was really hard, so they didn't get to build a snowman, but they still had lots of fun in it!

Great Wolf Lodge

After spending a couple of days in OK City, we headed to Grapevine and spent 2 days at The Great Wolf Lodge. It was so much fun for us all! The place is definitely geared to kids with all kinds of activities for them to do! We mostly enjoyed the indoor waterpark!

I thought the hallway was so pretty! So, here are my handsome men on the pretty wall!!

The boys loved being Tarzan getting across this pool!

Dylan riding the water slide in the smaller kids area. After he figured out he could enjoy this, he was ready for the big water slides!

Cayden in the kid area.

I never had my camera ready when they were coming down the slides, but we all enjoyed them! (minus Cayden!)
