Fall!!

Grandpa & Grandma were here this year again at Halloween, so they helped the boys with their pumpkin carving. We went trick-or-treating that evening - Bryce as a pirate, Dylan as an army man/hunter and Cayden as a Texas Longhorn football player.

After we got home from trick-or-treating, we ate the pumpkin shaped chocolate cake that I had decorated that day.

This year our schedule didn't work out to where we could host another Halloween party, so our good friends, Dave & Rose had it! We had lots of fun-not everyone dressed up, but this was the crew that did! Bryce went as a pirate, Dylan as the Texas Longhorn football player, Cayden as a Motorcross guy & Dave as a curly-haired dude with big sunglasses!!

Misc. pictures

It's been quite a while since I've posted pictures, so I'm recapping a little over the past couple of months so I'll have something to look back on someday!

At labor Day, a few of us kayaked the river behind us. It was a really fun day- about a 2 hour trip on the kayaks & canoes.

This was a regular enjoyment this summer with all of our hot days- the boys on their kayak in our pond. They also rigged a rope off of the pier to swing out into the water. Fun, fun, fun with boys!!

The newest adventure in the Egger household! They caught on ALOT faster than I did!

The boys on a Sunday morning- it's kinda hard to get a real serious picture of these 3! Aren't they handsome, though?!!

Soccer season has been fun with all 3 of the boys this fall. Bryce's team got 2nd place in their league and go to the play-offs this weekend again. Since they went last year, it has been a BIG goal of the kids and the coaches to make it back again, so it was pretty exciting when they did! They had a really good season!

More misc...

1st day of school this year. Bryce is in 4th grade and Dylan is in 2nd grade.

Cayden just turned 5 in August, so we decided to wait one more year on Kindergarten. So, he's going to a private school Kindergarten that is pretty much 1/2 days with the exception of 2 days that are full days. A great way to work into full blown kindergarten next year! (the glare was pretty bright, so this is the best picture I got!)

The boys with their 'worker buddies'! We sure did enjoy our past year with Loren & Silas and Dan was here the last part of it.

Hiking Mount Manadnock

While we were in New Hampshire, the 3 guys took the 4 oldest boys on a hike. They had lots of fun and had lots of stories to tell when they got back!

After a few hours... finally to the top! Bryce,Aidan,Ethan,Dylan

The whole crew!

Brian, Paul & Dave- these 3 guys took many trips together when they were all single, and many were hiking trips. I'm sure it never crossed their minds that they would be taking their boys all hiking together someday!

(I did it again, and got these posts out of order, so the "New Hampshire' post is the first one of this trip.)

You always have to make time for the 'formal' pictures!!

The boys all dressed up and ready for meeting Sunday Morning.

Paul, Cheryl and Pierce

Oh my, this little guy just stole all of our hearts!! Pierce was 6 months old here, and at that really cute age! Isn't it amazing that the 3 guys all have little boys! :) We have some really fun years ahead of us!

Lindi always buys the boys matching shirts when we get together :)

Enjoying the bikes & scooters

We 3 ladies had a really fun time together also!

We took the boys for a hotdog one evening and ice cream afterwards.

New Hampshire Trip

We had a fantastic trip this summer to New Hampshire to visit our friends Bian & Lindi, Ethan and Aidan. Paul & Cheryl and their new little guy, Pierce met us there also. The 3 guys, Dave, Brian & Paul were good buddies in their growing up years and took lots of awesome trips together...until they got married! :) Now, we try to meet up every year or 2 at someone's house. They boys all got along great this year again and we had a really fun time!

All the kids (big & small!) had fun on the gocarts and mini bike.

Bryce took Mommy on a ride!

Birthday party!

Cayden had a fun birthday party with some of his friends at a Splash pad/ Playground. They all had fun playing and enjoying getting wet to keep cooled down!

This was the easiest cake I've made yet, because he practically decorated it! He had so much fun putting all the Legos on it and deciding which Lego men to put on it!

We had to get pictures at the beginning of the party because it was so hot that the icing started melting just minutes after we got it out of the car!

Random Summer Photos

We've had a really busy but fun summer & I can't believe school is right around the corner! Here are just a few shots of the boys.
Bryce had this idea of making a Lemonade Stand. So, Daddy & him stayed up very late one evening building this stand from scrap wood they had collected to work on their fort. The next day, Dylan helped him paint it, and the next week they were out selling cold drinks at the end of our driveway! We only have 10 houses in our subdivision, and we have wonderful neighbors, so they all stopped and bought a drink at some time!

Bryce & Dylan painting and as you can see they had a little fun with the orange paint! :)

Matt, one of the neighbor boys was the first customer and also a repeat customer :)

We went to Happy Convention this summer and the boys enjoyed seeing and playing with their friends. Trae & Seth moved away from our meeting and now live 5 or so hours away, so the boys have missed their buddies!

The 'crew': Bryce, Seth, Trae, Andrew, Luke and Dylan, Cayden in front

The boys each made a Bow & Arrow between meetings with things they found in the woods around the grounds.

Bryce made Milkshake a bed out of a shoe box! And, she actually thrilled him by climbing in it and taking a few naps that day!

Happy Birthday, Cayden!!

How can it be that our 'baby' is 5 (yesterday!)?? We had a fun day at the pool with some friends, then had cupcakes after dinner. He's been opening presents all week, so there wasn't a 'rush' of new toys all in one evening! :) This little guy definitely keeps us hopping- a true, sweet but mischievious boy! Happy Birthday, Cayden! We love you very much!!

All of the kids at the pool: Brent & Bryce in the back; Suzannah, Brooklyn, Dylan, Benjamin, Cayden & Brock in the front. Caleena is sneaking off to the side :)

We're having a party for him tomorrow at a Splash Pad, so tonight we had cupcakes. He is very into Legos (actually, all the boys are), so he wanted a Star Wars Lego party.

Benjamin went to Mother's Day Out with Bryce & Dylan, and they've stayed good buddies every since!

BEACH trip!

This year we went on our annual Beeman beach vacation with all of my family to Port Aransas. It's always such a fun time with everyone! We've been going to the same area since Bryce was 6 months old, so we are figuring our way around the island :)

The 3 boys on the jetties.

On the beach- the cousins hitting the volleyball around.

Cayden brought his Cowboys & Indians set out to the beach and had a grand time with all the sand!

Dave and the boys always build an 'original' sand castle :) This year, they dug a deep hole and built around it. They used Cayden's Cowboys & Indians and it looked like a battle field!

Fishing Trip

We got up early one morning and went on a fishing trip with a guide. We had 2 boats- Dave, Bryce & I were on one and Dad, Scott, Renita & Dylan were on another. It was so much fun watching Bryce reel in those big fish! He caught alot more than Dave & I did! I wish the 2 boats would have stayed close enough so we could watch Dylan catch his fish, but they didn't, so we just had to hear the stories from the other boat!

Dave and Bryce enjoying the boat ride!

Bryce with our guide, Mike.

Bryce with the 20 inch trout he caught!

Bryce & Dylan when we had all gotten back to shore. These fish came out of the cooler, so they're fairly cold :)
