Happy Father's Day!

This is a little late, but Happy Father's Day! I had a wonderful father growing up and now my boys have a wonderful father! We had fun decorating a cookie cake for Dave. Each boy had a color to use and they had fun decorating!

After I wrote "Happy Dad's Day" on it and put a little border, Dylan got the first color going- green.

Then Cayden added some yellow.

Bryce finished up with orange.

It turned out really good! The boys were very excited to show it to Daddy when he got home!

Happy Father's Day!

At The Ballpark

We enjoyed an evening at the ballpark with some of the employees from Dave's work. This ballpark has an awesome play area for the kids and they hardly know they are at a baseball game!

A Day At The Zoo

We had a fun day at the zoo last week with Rose, Tisha, and Melinda and their kiddos. Look at all of those boys- the 2 girls seemed to have fun even surrounded by all the boys!

The boys watching for the giraffe.

They loved this area!

We all thought the baby buffalo was pretty cute!

Afterwards, we headed to a park behind the zoo for a picnic lunch. They had a splash pad there, so the kids cooled off for a while in the water. What a fun day!!

Fishing at Port Aransas

The boys love to fish with Papa! (I guess my posts are in the wrong order, but these next 3 are of our trip to Port Aransas)

Bryce fishing on the jetties. They love to fish here, but also love jumping on the big rocks! It is fun to watch the big ships pass by also.

Dylan fishing- he turned out to be our little fisherman this year!

Dylan with one of his catches!

We went fishing on Copano Bay bridge one evening. I remember doing this as a little girl growing up, every year when we came here. I even caught a few little fish! This is my Dad with the boys, helping them get their poles ready to fish.

USS Lexington

One day we visited the USS Lexington- the Navy ship docked on the Corpus Christi Bay. All the boys loved it!

We were up on the top deck here- the runway area for the jets. We were looking at a barge going by.

Me with the boys in front of one of the many helicopters parked.

A huge anchor out front.

Our Beach Vacation

Every year we meet my family in Port Aransas for a week on the beach. This year, as usual, we had a wonderful time!

The boys with their surf boards. Cayden mainly played on the beach in the sand, but he had to have a surf board also! Bryce & Dylan loved riding the waves. Dylan got stung by a jelly fish later in the week, so that ruined him from wanting to go into the water! But, he still enjoyed the beach. We had a pool at our condo, so when we got tired of the beach, we all headed to the pool!

The boys love playing with their cousins, Brooke and Blaire! They had so much fun together! Even though there is an age difference, they could all be together and enjoy the same things on the beach.

Me and my hubby!

Dave helping Dylan get started in the waves. They loved doing this!

Uncle Charlus set up a 'treaure hunt' for the boys. Dad and Charlus had their metal detectors- they loved all the 'treasures' they found, expecially the money!

End of another School Year!

I can't believe this school year is over! It has flown! But, Bryce had a very good 1st grade year and is glad to be classified as a 2nd grader! :) (And Dylan is very excited to be going into 'Kinder' in the fall!) They had the 1st grade awards ceremony last week and Bryce got some awards that made us very proud of him! He is such a good student and it shows by the awards and by what his teacher says of him! We love you, buddy!

Waiting for his name to be called...

Ms. McClure reading out his awards.

After the awards ceremony, they had their end of year party in their room. They had ice cream with lots of toppings to choose from!

We are very anxious for a fun summer! We have lots planned and I know it will go by just as fast as the school year did!
Happy Summer!!
