Happy Spring!

My most favorite time of the year... spring!! I love getting out in the yard and seeing all the beautiful flowers & trees starting to take off! This flower bed always is my favorite because the bulbs came from my Grandma Beeman's flower bed.

We are back into Spring Soccer again with the boys:

Bryce made a goal his first game this year and we were pretty proud of him!


Dylan had been our goal-maker in the past, so he continued his tradition by getting 2 goals for his team at his first game.


Cayden still loves being out there chasing the ball around and his most favorite part is... the snacks!! :)

Fun in the Snow!

We spent a few days in Buffalo, New York visiting some of Dave's family. The first couple of days were pretty warm, so the snow melted, but then there was a fresh snowfall one night and had a beautiful snow covering again. The boys enjoyed every minute of their time in the snow!


We bought a plastic snowboard for the boys to play on in the yard. They had so much fun snowboarding down the small hill in Grandpa & Grandma's front yard. Even Cayden got the 'hang of it' and could stay on!

More Snow Fun!

We took a snow hike up in the woods behind Dave's parent's house. It brought back many memories for Dave!


One day we took the boys to the ski hill. Bryce and Dylan took their 2nd snowboarding lessons while Dave enjoyed skiing with his brother, Bill and some of his nephews.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I hope everyone had a very special day yesterday with your 'valentine'. Dave and the boys made our Valentine meal for Sunday lunch. I loved watching them as they made heart shaped pancakes! Very sweet! We had a yummy meal of pancakes, bacon & sausage, eggs and chocolate dipped strawberries!

I absolutely LOVE this picture! These boys have been so busy working on their target shooting lately! They've enjoyed hunting trips out in our river bottom area with their Daddy also.


Since our kitty, Milkshake, has become a temporary indoor cat, she gets quite the pampering! Cayden loves putting blankets on her to make her "nice and cozy."

Milkshake Saga- Part 2!!

As most of you know from a previous blog, our kitten, Milkshake, got a hook stuck in her paw a few weeks ago and has had a 'cast' on it. Well...she got the cast taken off on Tuesday...brought her home...let her outside because she has missed being outside...she was still favoring that foot some...she jumped off of something...put too much weight on her back leg...and yes, broke her back leg!! So, Wednesday, she was back on the vet table and now has a very large cast on her back leg! Poor thing! She really had a rough time last night. I'm sure she was still in some pain and everytime she moved, she let out a cry! I'm gad she seems more comfortable today!
