Happy Birthday, Dylan!!

Happy 6th Birthday, Dylan! I can't believe it's been 6 years ago that we were living in Ft. Worth and had our 2nd baby boy! We love you, Dylan!

Christmas morning

We had a wonderful Christmas at my parent's house this year! Everyone was home! It's always fun for the boys to go to Papa & Nana's house! They brought their guns and bow and arrows and fishing poles and that kept them busy! Of course, they also love hanging around their big cousins Brooke & Blaire- and they are so patient with the boys!

(I thought I was putting these in age order, but it went backwards on me!)

Dylan really wanted a guitar for Christmas this year- he's our 'musical' one. He loved it when Papa got his guitar out and showed him! Now he wants a 'real' guitar! ha

Birthday Sleepover

Bryce and Dylan had their birthday sleepover this past weekend. What fun it was with 8 little boys! Actually, they were awesome- very cooperative and polite, yet very fun!!!
The boys wanted a 'bug' party this year, so I made 'Dirt Pudding' in flower pots and had buried gummy worms and lizards on top! If anyone wants a good dirt pudding recipe, I found it! (thanks to my sis, Teresa!)

Dylan will be 6 on the 30th.


All of the boys before eating the birthday dessert. I was a little afraid they would be disappointed that there was no cake, but the boys all loved the pudding (and of course the worms & lizards!)


That night, they all were settled into their jammies and Dave and our friend Dave P. talked to them about Noah's ark. Then I read them the book "Are You Grumpy, Santa"? Pretty cute story!

The next day, we went to a local inflatable place. The boys jumped nonstop for hours- fun, fun!!

Christmas Parties

The boys had their Christmas parties today at school. I literally spent all day 'partying', but it was fun!


Here is Bryce & Cayden during the snack time! Bryce's 2nd grade class made snowmen out of marshmallows, but I didn't get a picture before it was demolished!


Dylan's kinder class decorated gingerbread cookies. Cayden had fun making some also.




Cayden goes to a Mother's Day Out 2 days a week. His school did a program where the kids were dressed up as the 'characters' at the birth of Jesus. I know I'm his Mom, but this little shepherd boy was absolutely adorable! Cayden didn't do much singing in the program, but he loved shaking his bell for "Jingle Bells".

Bryce wanted a pumpkin pie for his birthday this year!



Dylan's birthday is the 30th,so they are having a sleepover with their buddies next weekend to celebrate both of their birthdays. Where do the years go??
