Our New 'Toy'

We got the boys an inflatable raft this weekend and they had so much fun trying it out on the pond this afternoon! After a while, they decided they wanted to test the water, so they jumped in! Even Cayden was so brave to try out the pond water.

'Odds and Ends'

It's been a while since I've posted pictures, so I decided to do a few of the highlights from the past few weeks.


The boys have really become 'fisherman' lately. We have a pond in our subdivision that is stocked and they love to bring their rods or even just their nets and play around in the water!


Mother's Day in front of my roses. I had a good day- Dave & the boys made me a breakfast lunch with heart-shaped pancakes!


Bryce has been taking tennis lessons and really enjoying it!


We went and saw Nene & Uncle Scott and cousins Brooke & Blaire on Nene's birthday weekend. The boys still talk about their boat ride with Uncle Scott! We brought cupcakes and had a little 'party' for Nene. She is an awesome aunt to my 3 boys!


The school had 'Proud to be American Day' last week. Unfortunately, Bryce was sick that day, but we went and watched from the car! They had an army plane flyover when the flags were raised, patriotic songs and people talk. It ended with a parade of the students around the neighbor. All of the classes made matching t-shirts. This is Dylan as his class began their march.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

I just wanted to wish my wonderful Mom a happy birthday today! She's definitely the best and to top it off, she's an awesome Nana to my boys! I hope you have a wonderful day today, Mom!

Spring!

Just a few pictures of the boys I took recently. It has been such beautiful spring weather recently & we are enjoying getting outside!


The bluebonnets are beautiful here in our subdivision around the pond area!


My azaleas are blooming so pretty right now! I love pulling into the driveway and looking at all the flowers in bloom! My roses are really bright and beautiful also! And the yellow & purple iris that I got from my grandparents yard when they moved are in full bloom in the back yard. I just love this time of year!

And Cayden is getting good at pedaling his little bike also! The kids in our neighborhood ride their bikes alot in the summer, so Cayden will be able to join in this year!

Camping!!

Last weekend was the yearly Dad's & Boy's camping trip (along with some special grandpa's!) I'm not sure who looks forward to this trip more- the little boys or the big boys! :) They camp in Colorado Bend State Park- it looks like a boy's paradise to me. Of course, Mom & I always have a wonderful time together also! We did a good mixture of shopping and enjoying the spring weather planting flowers!

Easter fun with old friends!

We spent the long Easter weekend with the Loyek's in Branson, Missouri. It had been over 8 years since we had seen them! We had Bryce when they came last and he was only a few weeks old then. So, 5 kids later, our 2 families have changed alot! We really enjoyed our time together there with them and the kids got along great. Branson was a fun area! We could've spent a few more days there and had plenty to do!


This was so pretty to me- flowers in the shape of a butterfly! We went to the Hamner Barber Show friday evening there, which was very entertaining- magic, a ventriloquist, singing... very fun for all ages.


Saturday we went to Branson Landing which had lots of shops and restaurants along a water area. This clown was there making cute objects with her many balloons!


After about a 30 minute plus wait, we ended up with 2 turtles, a dinosaur and a princess 'sword' (I have boys,so I don't know what else to call it, but a sword! ha)


The boys enjoyed the water bumper cars with their Dads. Afterwards, Dave & Dan came away very soaked- the boys enjoyed shooting their Dads with the water guns that were on the cars!

Gocart Fun!

Saturday we had fun riding go carts at a nearby amusement park area. It had lots of fun things for the kids to do!


I thought this sign was quite funny- we did end up all acting like kids! ha
