Raising of the flags- it always seems to 'get to me'! Especially when there were lots of soldiers there, since we live close by to Ft. Hood.
After the program- Dylan getting ready with his 1st grade class to get into 'parade mode'. Each grade makes matching shirts or hats (or both) to wear that day.
Dylan marching in the parade. The parade is led by a police car, then the soldiers with flags, then the High School Drummers, then each grade from 1st - 5th . There would've been more than 400 people in the parade!
Bryce with his friends, Anthony and Chris.
All 3 boys at the end of the school day with their patriotic craft.
That is such a great idea. Wish more schools would be more patriotic as I think it would sure make a difference in our kids. Blogger would not let me leave comment on your last post so will see what happens today.
