Spring Flowers

I have to admit that I am a flower fanatic this time of year! My hubby knows that the outside of our house will look beautiful but I don't promise anything about the inside! We have only been in our house about a year and a half, but the azaleas are looking are so beautiful! We are in the process of remuching all of the beds and it looks so good!

Dylan has a wonderful teacher this year in Mother's Day Out. These are the 2 most recent things he's done and I think they are so cute. The azaleas in the background are in our front flower beds. They are beautiful right now!

When my grandparents moved from their house in Texas, they let us bring some 'memories' with us- some of their beautiful bulbs. I love the purple and yellow iris that are blooming and the red amorillis (not sure how to spell that one!) I just planted yellow marigolds in the bed with them and it looks so pretty! Pictures don't do it justice!

Time With My Hubby !

Dave and I had a fun 2 days together in Phoenix, AZ last week. One of the Hilton hotels that they built there, had the grand opening and he invited me to go with him to it! It was so nice to have some time together! He treated me so nice with yummy meals and a shopping trip there! My Mom came and kept the boys and I think they all had a wonderful time together also- Thanks, Mom!! The hotel is a full service Hilton and it is beautiful! Of course, we got home to 'real life' with Cayden and a stomack virus and both boys with early Sat. morn. COLD soccer games!

Spring Break in San Antonio

We had a really fun time this year on the boys Spring Break. We went to San Antonio- a favorite of mine! I still remember family trips there when I was still at home.

Here we are on the Riverwalk after we ate a yummy mexican lunch at Casa Rio- got a table right on the Riverwalk!

This is from one of the River boats that we rode. The colorful umbrellas are at Casa Rio.

Now, we are at the Alamo. Our sweet little guy, Cayden!

Bryce and Dylan sitting on one of the cannons.

Sea World

We had a wonderful day at Sea World! Everyone loved the shows and the park is just beautiful with all the flowers!

The boys got to cool off a little at the kids splash area, then enjoyed the jungle gym, sand area, etc...

SHAMU!! One of our favorite shows!!

Mommy with her boys!

Swimming

The Embassy Suites we stayed in had a nice pool area- which the boys LOVE!!! Bryce & Dylan are little fish when it comes to water. Cayden loves it also, so hopefully swim lessons this summer will put him swimming!

Bryce loves it- can you tell by the smile on his face??

Our sweet Dylan!!

Daddy and Cayden had fun together playing and chasing the other 2 boys! Mommy got in the first evening, then I decided I would stay on land and enjoy watching them play! I'll have my turn this summer in the water with them- we seem to get a few days at the pool every week when it turns warm enough!

Enchanted Rock

Next we headed toward Fredericksburg to Enchanted Rock. What fun we all had! We even made it to the top, which was a good 'hike' for the boys!

The boys found it quite interesting to find little water holes with tadpoles in in them! They couldn't figure out how that frog made it all the way up that big rock!!

Our 3 little men!! What a cute picture- even after their long hike! :)

Better Than Superman!!

As most of you know, my hubby is the 'hotel guy' - building lots of hotels for Marriott and Hilton in the past few years. They built a Residence Inn here in our town a couple of years ago, and today a semi truck came barreling through it! Absolutely amazing! He let the boys & I come up there tonight for a little while and I got an up close and personal tour of the damage. The guy came off of the interstate, across the on-ramp, through a large parking lot, up the concrete retaining wall and literally flew for about 100 feet in the air until it hit the hotel! And the wonderful part, is NOONE was killed- not even the driver! Yes, he's in the hospital, but they expect him to be fine. They are cutting the hotel away from the truck tonight and supporting it as they should before they remove the semi tomorrow, and access the structural damages! Anyway, just a little excitement around here today!
